Baseball:
San Dimas picked up one of its most impressive wins of the 2025 season on Friday.
The Saints cruised to an 11-4 victory over their visitors from Long Beach Millikan.
With one game to go in their regular season, the Rams (10-1) are just one-game back of Andy Hall’s Wilson Bruins in the Moore League standings.
MHS and WHS meet up on Wednesday at Blair Field at 4.
But back to Friday’s game.
The Saints out-hit the Rams, 15-8.
Daunte Bell got the loss after surrendering eight runs (two earned) on nine hits over three innings.
Bell didn’t issue a walk and registered six strikeouts.
SDHS got to Austin Brett for three runs on six hits in his three innings of work.
Brett didn’t give a free pass and struck out one Saint.
Jayden Claros had a big game.
Claros went 4-for-5 with a double, two runs and a pair of RBIs.
Vaughn Coleman singled twice, was hit by pitch two times, drove in one and scored a pair of runs.
Josh Calcanas singled, doubled and scored twice.
Aadan Escarcega went 2-for-4 with a run and one RBI.
Jeremiah Holmes singled, scored a pair of runs and drove in one.
Jason Almeda went 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
James Rocha singled and scored.
Ashton Romero had an RBI double.
Jayden Medina scored once for the Saints.
Rocha went five innings to get the win.
Rocha was charged with two earned runs on five hits.
He walked three and struck out four MHS batters.
Manuel Tinajero and Dean Brosterhouse provided one inning of relief apiece.
Tinajero surrendered a run on two hits and struck out one.
Brosterhouse allowed one hit, walked one and struck out one Rams’ batter.
Shane Wally went 3-for-4 with an RBI.
Anthony Pack walked, was hit by pitch, scored and drove in a run on a sac fly.
Jacob Pauline singled twice and drove in one run.
Xavier Kennard went 2-for-3 with a run and one RBI.
Noa Morales drew a pair of walks and scored, and Lucas Helig walked once and scored.
Adrian Ramirez had one hit for the Rams.
Up next: The Saints close out the regular season with Colony.
SDHS travels to Ontario on Monday, and they’ll host the Titans on Wednesday.
San Dimas could still finish ahead of Colony for second in the Hacienda League.
They enter the final week one-game back of the Titans.
