Three Northview pitchers combined on a five-inning no-hitter.
The Vikings took another step towards a Valle Vista League championship after Thursday’s 11-0 victory over Rowland in five innings.
NHS plunked one RHS batter or else it would have been a perfect game.
Evan Bustamante and Camren Lobo went two innings apiece.
Bustamante struck out one, and Lobo got five of his six outs via strikeout.
Jon Hernandez got the final two outs, including one via strikeout.
Nathaniel Li was hit by pitch to account for the only Rowland baserunner.
Logan Dwyer got the loss after surrendering nine runs on seven hits and three walks over 2 2/3 innings.
Dwyer struck out one NHS batter.
Joey Ramos led off the game with a solo HR, and he would finish 2-for-2 with a triple, two runs and three RBIs.
Michael Mendoza singled, doubled, scored twice and drove in one run.
Adrian Rodriguez singled and scored.
Jayden Chagollan went 1-for-3 with a run and one RBI.
Isaiah Benavidez had a pair of singles, one run and an RBI.
Jake Aguilar went 2-for-2 with a walk, run and two RBIs.
Zeke Martinez walked and scored, and AJ Flores was hit by pitch and score.
Noah Martinez singled, scored and drove in one.
