Muir secured a two-game Pacific League sweep over Hoover thanks to Friday’s 8-2 victory over the Tornados.
The Mustangs’ 16 wins is a program best since 2019.
MHS out-hit HHS, 8-2.
Jacob Vangor was charged with eight runs on 10 hits and four walks over 5 1/3 innings.
Vangor struck out a pair of Muir batters.
Conrad Hunziker IV walked, scored, and his two-run double in the first gave MHS a 2-0 lead.
Luca Cano went 2-for-5 with two runs and an RBI double.
Kahlil Rishwain drew a pair of walks, singled and scored two runs.
Ezekiel Rodriguez walked, singled, scored and had one RBI.
