College Baseball:
Chaffey finished off their 2025 regular season schedule with a 30th win.
The Panthers cruised to a 17-2 IEAC victory at Barstow.
The boys from Rancho Cucamonga had a 19-10 advantage in hits, including a 9-2 edge in extra-base hits.
Matthew Arrey got the loss in spite of allowing an unearned run on five hits over three innings.
Arrey walked two and fanned a trio of Panthers.
Chaffey got a combined 16 runs on 14 hits and four walks off Manuel Barraza and Michael Carger over their six innings on Friday.
Lance Armijo had an RBI double, a three-run HR and scored a pair of runs.
Jordan Daniels went 3-for-4 with a walk, RBI double, a two-run HR, and he scored three times.
Eric Valdivia drew a pair of walks, doubled twice, scored two runs and drove in a pair.
Ryder Young went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs.
Jaden St. Cyr drew two bases on balls, singled twice, doubled, scored twice and drove in one run.
Derek Almeda singled, doubled and scored twice.
Dominick Torrez doubled and scored a pair of runs.
Joe Gilkeson went 2-for-2.
Jayden Sanchez walked, singled, scored twice and drove in a pair of runs.
Austin Easter singled, scored and had three RBIs.
Michael Moses went five scoreless innings and scattered three hits to earn the win.
Moses didn’t issue a walk and registered five strikeouts.
Easton Mitchell singled three times and scored.
Dominick Vasquez doubled and scored.
Manuel Barraza doubled, while Omar Lopez, Jaxsen Francisco had one single apiece.
Up next: The Panthers await their postseason opponent.
