College Baseball:
Chaffey overcame another early deficit to win its 29th game of the season.
The Panthers trailed 4-0 in the third inning, but they would go on to claim a 12-9 victory over their visitors from Cerro Coso.
Jackson Price was credited with the win after going six innings and allowing eight runs (four earned) on eight hits.
Price walked one and fanned eight.
Nick Sanchez earned the saved by going a perfect ninth inning in relief, including one strikeout.
Andrew Bain went 2-for-4 with two runs, an RBI double and a solo HR.
Cayden Johnson doubled and scored.
Bo McKee singled twice and scored a pair of runs.
Jordan Boman went 2-for-4 with a walk, run and two RBIs.
Lauren Binney singled and scored.
Daniel Rios went 1-for-4 with a walk, run and one RBI.
Chaffey got four runs apiece off Andre Carrillo, Andrew Ponciano and Jack Banning on 12 combined hits.
Ryder Young went 3-for-5 with a two-run single and a three-run HR.
Jayden Sanchez walked with the bases loaded, had an RBI single and a two-run HR.
In all, Sanchez scored three times and drove in four.
Dominick Torrez singled and doubled.
AJ Hurtado drew a pair of walks, singled and scored three runs.
Jaden St. Cyr walked, singled and scored twice.
Eric Valdivia and Ryan Melton singled and scored one run apiece.
Derek Almeda went 1-for-3 with a walk, run and one RBI.
