Bonita remained one-game back of first place Ayala after Tuesday’s 5-3 Palomares League victory at Walnut.
The Bearcats scored three times in the top of the sixth to earn the road win.
BHS had a 10-7 edge in base hits, and they took advantage of four WHS errors.
Dylan Nunez went five innings, and he was charged with two runs (one earned) on six hits.
Nunez walked and struck out one.
Nate Leyva was on the hook for three runs (one earned) on four hits and one walk over 1 1/3 innings.
Dominic Garcia had an RBI single in the three-run sixth inning and an RBI ground out.
