Baseball:
Pasadena escaped its Dave Moore Tournament showdown with Temple City, 4-3, in nine innings.
TCHS scored twice in the top of the seventh to take a 3-2 lead.
PHS got one in the seventh and another in the ninth to secure the win.
Adrian Oseguera went three innings, and he allowed one run on three hits and four walks.
Fabio Castillo was charged with a pair of unearned runs on three hits over four innings.
Castillo issued one walk and struck out a pair of Temple City batters.
Reese Kim earned the win after two scoreless innings in relief.
Kim allowed one hit, walked one, and he struck out two.
Isaac Carrillo singled and scored.
Tyler Womack drew a pair of walks, singled and drove in a run.
Sebastian Esparza went 2-for-3 with a walk.
Nicholas Palomo drew a pair of walks and scored.
Nate Platon singled, scored and drove in a run.
Oliver Grande got the loss after surrendering one run on two hits over 1 2/3 innings.
Grande walked one and fanned one PHS batter.
Kaleb Derosier walked, scored, hit a two-run HR, and he collected a walk-off RBI double.
Ian Van Zyl went 2-for-3 with two walks, a pair of singles and two runs.
