The Mustangs edged their visitors from Poly, 4-3, on Thursday.
Conrad Hunziker IV went six innings to earn the win.
Hunziker allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits.
He issued four walks and registered 14 strikeouts.
Sergio Rodriguez got the final three outs to earn the save.
Caden Kennedy walked, singled twice and scored.
Will Oreck drew a pair of walks, singled and scored.
Harrison Unanue went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Elijah Ip went five innings, and he allowed three runs on nine hits.
Ip walked two and fanned four MHS batters.
Oliver Marks gave up the sixth inning run on two hits and a pair of walks.
Hunziker went 3-for-4, including a double and two RBIs.
Kahlil Rishwain had four hits and an RBI.
Eduardo Sosa singled and doubled.
Arturo Ayers and Donovan Williams singled and scored one run apiece.
Luca Cano drew a pair of walks and scored.
Rodriguez walked and scored.
Bryant Soriano’s RBI ground out in the bottom of the second inning gave Muir a 1-0 lead.
