Girls Soccer:
Charter Oak closed out the 2024-25 regular season with two wins.
On Monday, the Chargers defeated Covina, 5-1.
And yesterday, COHS outlasted West Covina, 2-1, in double overtime.
Charter Oak secured the Valle Vista League’s No. 3 seed.
Trailing 1-0, Isabella Carmona Chavez scored in the second half to catch the Bulldogs at 1-1.
In overtime, Heather Hannah assisted Avery Zernickow’s game-winning score.
Deandra Varela had six saves in goal for COHS.
Up next: The playoff pairings come out this Saturday morning at 10.
