Girls Basketball:
La Salle got out to an early lead, and they cruised to a 52-36 Del Rey League victory over St. Monica.
The Lancers finished third in league.
Casey Higgins scored a game-high 22 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Kaden Cortes hit two 3’s and she finished with 14 going.
Cortes has now been part of 106 victories at La Salle.
St. Monica got all 36 points from three players.
Kim Macias had 16 points, Bailey Prewitt scored 11 and Sydney Ghobrial finished with nine points in the loss.
Julianne Tan chipped in with seven points for La Salle.
Up next: The Lancers will get their playoff opponent on Saturday at noon.
