Girls Basketball:
La Salle finished play at the Burroughs Showcase 3-0 on Saturday.
The Lancers defeated Canyon (53-38), Santa Monica (71-15) and Palisades (60-40).
La Salle extended its current win streak to seven games.
On Saturday, the Lancers led 20-4 after the first quarter.
Casey Higgins scored a game-high 18 points, and she grabbed 13 rebounds.
Kaden Cortes hit three of La Salle’s five 3’s and she finished with 17 points.
Aislin Tamez Torres chipped in with 13 points.
Elly Tierney led Palisades with 16 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Up next: The Lancers battle Schurr next Friday in the first round of the La Salle Winter Showcase.
The tip is set for 7.
