Girls Soccer:
Make it 10 consecutive victories for the Marshall Fundamental girls soccer program.
The Eagles trailed 1-0 at the half, but scored twice in the second half and defeated Don Lugo, 2-1, in the second round of the CIF-SS Division 5 playoffs.
Grace Mabee and Brianna Marquez scored second-half goals.
Esmeralda Jaquez assisted on both Eagles’ scores.
Up next: Marshall will host San Marcos of Santa Barbara on Tuesday.
The undefeated Royals (13-0) edged Hillcrest, 4-3, in their second-round game.
