Football:
Etiwanda opened the 2024 season in dominating form.
The Eagles crushed their hosts from Grand Terrance, 55-0, on Friday evening.
Keegan Campuzano completed 13 of his 23 pass attempts for 219 yards.
Campuzano tossed three TD passes and didn’t turn the ball over.
Derrick Brown led the EHS ground game with 53 yards on five carries, and that included one TD run.
Kaii Scott also had one TD, and he gained 15 yards on two carries.
Jaleel Sutton contributed 35 yards rushing.
Aureliano Bedoy led the Eagles receiving corps with five catches and two scores.
Myles Tarkington had two receptions for 19 yards and one TD.
Chad Wakumoto caught a pair of passes for 31 yards.
Dorsett Edwards and Drew Toki had seven tackles apiece to lead the Etiwanda defense.
Up next: The Eagles will host Citrus Valley on Thursday night at 7.
The Blackhawks (0-0) had a week-zero bye.
