The California Outlaws are closing in on the first-place Arroyo Seco Sentinels after Wednesday’s 9-3 victory in a Baseball Census Collegiate Summer League game.

Connor Feer got the win after going four scoreless and hitless innings.

Feer issued a pair of walks and fanned three Arroyo Seco batters.

Ivan Niebla provided two scoreless and hitless innings in relief.

Niebla walked two and struck out two.

Bryan Richman singled and scored.

Tommy Golbranson went 1-for-3 with a run and one RBI.

Mark Manuel singled in a run.

Ethan McNish got the loss after being charged with six runs on five hits over 2 1/3 innings.

McNish walked one and struck out three Outlaws.

Ryan Graves started and allowed one unearned run on one hit over three innings.

Graves issued a walk and struck out three.

Matt Diaz went 2-for-3 with a run and two RBIs.

Diego Frey singled, doubled and scored.

Clay Porter walked, doubled and scored.

Seth Reker walked, scored and drove in a run on a sac fly.

Vito Fowler, Marcus Moyer and Austin Easter walked and scored one run apiece.

Jason Del Villar had an RBI single.

Logan Corthell singled in a run.

Nick Sanchez went 1-for-4 with a run and one RBI.

Jared Benash singled, scored and drove in a run.

The win allowed the Outlaws to catch the Sentinels in the win column.

Up next: The Sentinels and Monarchs meet up Thursday at the Glendale Sports Complex at 3.

The Outlaws face the Sentinels on Saturday morning at 11 at Brookside Park in Pasadena.
