The California Outlaws put Tuesday’s Baseball Census Collegiate Summer League game against the SGV Monarchs away in the top of the second inning.
The Outlaws scored 11 times to take a 12-0 lead, and they would go on to claim a 13-2 victory.
Gage Wiese was charged with 10 runs (nine earned) on nine hits over one inning.
Wiese walked two and struck out a pair of Outlaws.
Diego Frey went 4-for-4 with a walk, double, two runs and an RBI.
Matt Diaz had a pair of singles, two runs and an RBI.
Ian Wolski went 2-for-4 with a walk, double and two runs.
Aaron Whobrey singled twice, scored and drove in a pair of runs.
Jason Del Villar went 2-for-5 with a double, run and three RBIs.
Seth Reker walked, scored and had two RBIs.
Vito Fowler and Logan Corthell singled, scored and drove in one run apiece.
Michael McQueen singled and scored.
Nate Perry drew a pair of walks and scored.
All 10 California Outlaws that got an official at-bat on Tuesday scored at least once, eight had one hit or more, and seven had one RBI or more.
Rudy Padilla was credited with the win after going three innings and allowing two runs on two hits.
Padilla issued three walks and fanned a pair of Monarchs.
Shane Dougherty doubled in a run and scored.
Jake Hernandez drew a pair of walks and scored.
Landon Lowther tripled, while Benny Vogel, Jake Trabbie, and Matt Rice had one hit apiece for the Monarchs.
Up next: After the Baseball Census Collegiate Summer League all-star game on Wednesday, both programs will be back in action on Saturday.at Brookside Park in Pasadena.
The Outlaws battle the Sentinels at 11, and the Monarchs face the Arroyo Seco Royals at 2.
