Quotable:

Azusa coach, Al Sanchez: “We just merged together as a school and yet it already feels like family. The seniors have been together for four years and they bought into our hard work in practice and the system. EJ Romero did well. He hadn’t pitched since league. It was his turn and he stepped up and gave us two more innings than we thought he’d give us. He hit his spots. Terry Chavez has had a tough season, but we knew he just needed to break out. Last game, he broke out, and he blew the doors off.”
