South Hills remained unbeaten in Hacienda League play after Tuesday’s 9-0 victory over Wilson.
The Huskies out-hit the Wildcats, 11-3.
Jesus Castorena got the loss after allowing eight runs (seven earned) on seven hits and two walks over his three innings.
Steven Jimenez hit a two-run HR in the bottom of the third to give SHHS a 5-0 lead.
Noah Malone drew a pair of walks, scored twice and hit a solo HR.
Aiden Soto had a two-run double and scored.
Matt Manzo walked, had an RBI single, a double, and he scored a pair of runs.
Christian Gomez doubled and scored.
Paul Vazquez walked and had an RBI double.
Matt Moreno had an RBI single and scored.
Sebastian Morinaga singled and scored.
Noah Malone, Luke Bauer and Matt Manzo provided two scoreless innings apiece.
Malone didn’t allow a hit, walked one and struck out five Wilson batters.
Bauer gave up one hit, issued a pair of walks and struck out three.
Manzo surrendered one hit, didn’t walk anyone and fanned five.
Fabian Marez went one scoreless inning, and he allowed one hit while striking out the side.
