Nate Callaway Tosses Six-Inning No-Hitter & Struck Out 13 in Marshall Fundamental’s Rain-Shortened 7-0 MVL Victory Over Rosemead

Baseball:

The only thing that stood between Nate Callaway and an official no-hitter was Mother Nature.

Callaway went six hitless and scoreless innings in Marshall Fundamental’s 7-0 victory at Rosemead.

He issued one walk and struck out 13 RHS batters.

Callaway needed 82 pitches, and 57 went for strikes.

Daniel Flores was saddled with the loss after allowing four runs on six hits over three innings.

Flores didn’t issue a walk and fanned a pair of Eagles batters.

Ben Muro went 3-for-3, with a double, two runs and one RBI.

Trevor Lain singled, tripled, scored and drove in three.

Wes Pendleton tripled and scored three runs.

George Jennings went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Caleb Delgado and Adam Castro had one hit apiece.

Callaway had an RBI ground out to help his own cause.

Up next: The Eagles host Glendale on Saturday morning at 11.
