Crescenta Valley scored twice in the bottom of the first inning, and they never trailed in Tuesday’s 8-2 Pacific League victory over Pasadena.
Gunner Herman went four innings and allowed one unearned run on four hits.
Herman walked one and struck out four PHS batters.
Sam Sellars allowed one run on one hit over three innings.
Sellars issued one walk and tallied four strikeouts.
Kaleb Derosier went 2-for-4, including a solo HR in the top of the seventh inning.
Riley Andrade had an RBI single in the top of the second inning to pull the Bulldogs to within 2-1 of CV.
Adrian Oseguera was saddled with the loss after allowing six runs on eight hits over four innings.
Oseguera issued one walk and fanned three CV batters.
Cole Richards doubled, tripled, scored twice and he drove in a pair of runs.
Brandon Kwon went 2-for-4, with two runs and an RBI.
Chris Torres singled, scored and drove in a run.
Jacob Mucic singled and scored.
Dashiell Schultz had an RBI single in the first inning to give CV a 2-0 lead.
