More importantly, Los Osos has gotten a pair of solid outings from its pitching staff.

One day after four players combined on a no-hitter in a 19-run victory, the Grizzlies defeated Riverside Poly, 15-2, at the Summit Tournament.

Reagan Samples earned the win after going four innings and allowing one earned run on two hits.

Samples didn’t issue a walk and fanned a pair of Poly batters.

Zenen Pena provided three innings of relief, and he surrendered one run on two hits.

Pena didn’t walk anyone and struck out five.

Matthew Henry walked and doubled in a run.

Luke Medure went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Austin Torres was saddled with the loss after allowing four runs (two earned) on five hits over two innings.

Torres allowed one walk and struck out a pair of Los Osos batters.

Roberto Topete went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs and an RBI.

Hunter Meyer singled twice, drove in three and scored a pair of runs.

Jeremiah Jacobo went 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI.

Samples helped his own cause with two singles, a double, two runs and one RBI.

Joshua Chairez singled twice, drove in a pair of runs and scored.

Jake Monsen was 4-for-5, including a double, two runs and two RBIs.

Wyatt Mohler singled, doubled, scored twice and drove in a run.

Justin Yeutter singled and scored, and Daniel Lopez had an RBI base hit.
