Girls Volleyball:
Monrovia won its second consecutive match after starting the season 0-2.
After a five-set thriller over South Hills, the Wildcats swept Bishop Conaty-Loretto in the Lakewood Tournament.
Monrovia earned the victory via scores of 25-16, 25-12 and 25-16.
Alyssa Corrazelli led the offense with eight kills.
Jessica Mitchell added 27 assists and Juliana Castaneda contributed 23 digs for the Wildcats.
Up next: Monrovia faces off today (Saturday) with Downey in the Lakewood Tournament.
