Boys Basketball:
Glendora got out to a 14-point lead after the first eight minutes and held on to defeat last-place, Alta Loma, 61-52, in Tuesday’s Palomares League game.
Noah Smith had another big night with 21 points, three rebounds and two assists.
Luke Jacobson added 12 points and five boards in the win.
Dirk McCoy led Alta Loma with 11 points and the Conway’s, Kye and Jace had 10 points apiece for the Braves.
Braydon Wooldridge (seven points, six rebounds, two steals), Austin Clark (six points, six assists and four rebounds), Jack Anderson (five points, nine rebounds, four assists) and Ayden Green (five points, six rebounds) all played a key role in Tuesday night’s win.
Up next: GHS travels to first-place Colony on Friday evening.
The Titans defeated the Tartans by 26 points back on April 28th at GHS.
