The Bulldogs defeated their host from Colony, 60-53, and they stand just one-game back of first-place Bonita and Glendora.
AHS will host the Bearcats on Friday night in a crucial showdown.
Jaydin Maddox and Joshua Townsell led the Bulldogs with 13 points apiece.
Townsell dished out six assists and grabbed three rebounds.
Maddox had three rebounds and three steals.
Colony’s Carter Johnson had a game-high 22 points to go with five rebounds.
Jordan Buenaseda chipped in with 12 points and three rebounds.
Jeremy Serrano provided 11 points and four rebounds in the win.
