Boys Basketball:
Glendora earned a spot in its own tournament final after Friday’s 65-54 victory over San Dimas.
The Tartans outscored the Saints, 39-29, between the second and third quarters to hold off a scrappy SDHS squad.
Max Hilgenfeldt led GHS with 17 points and Elijah Regan contributed 15 points.
San Dimas’ Nathan Yearout led all scorers with 21 points, and Levi Sinclair had a big night with 16 points.
Chris Lee finished with 10 points, and Colton Gray added nine points and 10 rebounds for Glendora.
Up next: SDHS will battle Diamond Bar at 4 for fifth place.
And GHS and Bishop Amat meet up at 7 to decide the tournament champion.
