Girls Tennis:
Marshall Fundamental had about as good a day as one could hope for on a tennis court.
The Lady Eagles literally swept South El Monte, 18-0, in a Mission Valley League match.
The Marshall singles players, Hannah Hagiwara, Diana Kasabian and Elena Edmonds, all went 3-0.
As did the doubles teams of Sierra Bethelmy & Keri Santiago, Eunbee Grace Ahn and Sophia Alpuche,
and Lexie Palacios and Parisa Vazira.
Marshall improved to 11-4 overall and 7-2 in MVL matches.
Up next: The Eagles close out MVL play Thursday at Rosemead.
Next week, they’ve already qualified for the MVL prelims on Tuesday and Wednesday.
