There are times when people of all ethnic, religious and political backgrounds seem to come together.
And this is one of those moments.
Last Friday, the Northview football program was at San Dimas High School in the Valle Vista League opener for both programs.
As both teams prepared to head to the locker room at halftime, Northview offensive coordinator Anthony Silva had to leave the San Dimas campus.
And he did so with a look of horror on his face.
In a devastating focus shift, Silva found out that his beautiful 20-year-old niece, Samantha Rodriguez, had been killed in a car crash.
Her family, uncle and the Northview High School family are understandably devastated beyond words.
Samantha’s mom is a single mother, who is raising a 12-year-old daughter.
The nightmare has just begun for this family, but here’s how you can help.
A Gofundme account has been set up for her family, and for those who can contribute, please consider doing so.
May God bless Samantha Rodriguez, and the family she loved so deeply.
