College Football:
That steamroller known as the Chaffey College football program continued to flatten its 2023 opponents on Saturday.
The Panthers cruised to a 62-25 victory at LA Southwest, and they improved to 4-0.
Perhaps the most impressive part thus far is Chaffey’s 3-0 mark on the road.
So far, a 25-point victory over LA Valley in week one is the closest anyone has gotten to defeating the boys from Rancho Cucamonga.
Last night, Chaffey tallied 527 yards of total offense.
Their quarterback, Dereun Dortch, had 355 yards of total offense and five TD’s.
Dortch threw for three scores and ran for two more.
Will Davis caught nine passes for 141 yards and one score.
Linebacker Ronald Williams had seven tackles, a pick-six, forced fumble and a fumble recovery for the Chaffey defense.
The Panthers have now beaten LA Valley, LA Pierce, Santa Monica and LA Southwest by a combined margin of 196-65.

The Lancers claimed a 43-14 victory over their visitors from Victory Valley last night in Pasadena.
