Girls Basketball:
Flintridge Prep added to its historic season on Tuesday night.
The Wolves defeated visiting Scripps Ranch, 55-44, in the first round of the CIF State Division 2 playoffs.
It marks the first 30-win season in program history.
Ashley Chea led the way with 28 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Maddie Smith chipped in with 14 points, four rebounds and three assists.
Michelle Kramer and Clare Valentine had 13 points apiece in the loss.
Prep extended its current winning streak to 14 games.
Up next: The Wolves travel to Chula Vista on Thursday night to battle No. 1 seeded Bonita Vista.
The Barrons (20-9) defeated Birmingham, 63-49, in their state opener.
