Boys Basketball:
San Dimas took all of the drama out of Wednesday’s CIF-SS Division 3A opener with Hemet.
The Saints led by 16 after the first eight minutes, took a 32-point lead into the break, and claimed a 73-47 victory over the Bulldogs.
Logan Hodson had a big game with 15 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals.
Ethan Chavez hit three 3-pointers and finished with 15 points, three assists, two rebounds and two steals.
Cruz Plascencia led all scorers with 18 points.
Juaquin Martinez finished with eight points and Quinton Skinner had six for the Bulldogs.
Aaron Park had 11 points, three assists and two rebounds for SDHS.
David Liese and Nathan Yearout chipped in with nine points apiece.
Liese also had three rebounds, two steals and a block.
Up next: San Dimas heads to Irvine on Friday night to face Woodbridge.
The Warriors (14-13) picked up a 67-51 victory at Alhambra.
