Boys Basketball:
Wilson gave Walnut everything it could handle in Friday’s Hacienda League finale.
The Mustangs, however, held on for a 74-68 victory, and finished as co-league champs with Diamond Bar.
Joby Barnes led the way with 25 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Malik Khouzam contributed 21 points, six assists and four steals.
Adrian Triplett had nine points and J Lee chipped in with eight.
Gavin Ibrahim finished with eight points and five rebounds.
Walnut will open the playoffs on a 10-game win streak.
