Girls Wrestling:
SDHS claimed the Inaugural Brawl at San Dimas 10-way dual on Saturday.
The Lady Saints got by the All-Stars (48-36), Shadow Hills (48-25), Chaffey (65-18) and a 54-30 victory over Downey in the semifinal round.
That set up a showdown with Warren for the dual title.
And SDHS would defeat the Bears, 48-36.
Shadow Hills took third after a 60-24 victory over Palm Springs.
Individually, SDHS had a number of standouts.
And that list includes Odalis Garcia at (101 pounds), who went 3-0.
Lei’ani Jaime (111) 4-1, Alani Marrujo (137) 3-0, Julianna Marquez (160) 4-0, and Kaley Rice (170 pounds, 4-0 record) all excelled for the Saints.
