Boys Basketball:
Diamond Bar thumped Glendora, 63-35, in Friday’s semifinal round of the Gary Prestesater Classic.
The Brahmas got out to a nine-point lead after the first period, and they never looked back.
Malcolm Bell led DBHS with 19 points and Alex Kim had 10.
Colton Gray paced the GHS offense with 20 points, 11 rebounds and the Tartans’ sophomore drew three charges.
Chris Lee chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.
Up next: The Tartans will meet up tonight (Saturday) against San Marino (6-1).
The Brahmas will match up with Villa Park at 7:30 for the tournament title.
