After starting the 2022 season 0-2, the Etiwanda High School football program finds itself on a three-game win streak.
The Eagles edged visiting Glendora, 18-14, on Friday night.
Justin Ludovico booted a 25-yard field goal to give EHS a 3-0 lead in the first quarter.
Jaeden Toki caught a 20-yard TD pass from Demaricus Davis to give the Eagles a 10-0 advantage at the break.
Marquize Brown would get the Tartans to within 10-7 after his 1-yard TD run in the third period.
Jaiden Moss scored on a 3-yard run, and after a failed point-after attempt, Etiwanda headed to the fourth quarter up 16-7.
Brown would score from four yards out, and GHS trailed 18-16.
EHS, however, sacked Eric Najarro in the end zone to account for the game’s final score.
Up next: EHS & GHS both have Friday home games.
The Eagles welcome Cajon, and the Tartans will host Diamond Ranch.
