Girls Volleyball:
Marshall Fundamental got one final tuneup before opening Mission Valley League play.
And the Eagles made the most of it.
Marshall won by scores of 25-11, 25-8 and 25-15.
The victory extended the Eagles win streak to four games, and over that stretch, Marshall has won 12 of the 13 sets they’ve played.
Abigail Garibay, who returned after missing three matches due to an arm injury had seven aces and three kills.
Alexis Delgado contributed four kills and five aces.
Rory Lorenz added four kills, four aces and a block.
Evelyn Mkhitarian provided five kills and three aces, and Lauren Sandoval finished with 17 assists and five aces.
Up next: The Eagles open Mission Valley League play on Monday against their visitors from Mountain View.
