Sunset League Pitcher of the Week:
Eddie Vokes, Field Rats:
Vokes went six scoreless innings this past week and allowed just three hits.
He issued one walk and struck out eight batters.
The Field Rats finished second in the Sunset League.
They open the playoffs on Wednesday against the winner of Tuesday’s wild card game between the OC Legends and the Quakes Baseball Academy.
Vokes finished the regular season with 20 strikeouts in 23 innings and had a 3.52 ERA.
