Jordan Salgado, California Cage Rats
The Cage Rats are struggling and currently sit in the Sunset League cellar with a record of 2-11.
But Jordan Salgado’s bat has been on fire.
Over the past week, the former Glendora High/Rio Hondo College outfielder went 8-for-16 with four doubles, a triple, home run, seven RBIs and two stolen bases.
For the season, Salgado is batting .345, with 10 hits, 10 runs and eight RBIs.
Salgado leads the Cage Rats with a team-high four doubles and three triples.
Landon Trosclair, Cage Rats
Trosclair, the Loyola of New Orleans redshirt, went 8-for-17.
He had seven singles, a triple, walk, four RBIs and four stolen bases.
For the season, Trosclair is batting .417 with a team-high 15 hits and 14 runs.
Trosclair and Frank Garcia lead the Cage Rats with two home runs apiece.
