Quotable:

Claremont coach, Jake Caron: “We had lost two tough road games in a row, so there was definitely some pressure building, but our guys responded with a really good week of practice. We knew Kaiser was explosive, and their No. 1 has been one of the best players in the area for the past three seasons. We adjusted our game plan and were able to take advantage of having Badger back in action. Defensively, we created negative plays, got to the quarterback, and came away with three interceptions. Offensively, we were balanced and efficient, and Ethan Ford continues to be a game changer for us at the kicking position. We still have a lot of work to do and are continuing to find our identity, but I’m excited about where we can go from here. Now we get a chance to reset, keep improving, and hopefully hit our stride as we head into league play.”
