Volleyball:
A young Duarte program seems to be getting better every time they take the court.
After a three-game sweep over Edgewood, the Falcons improved to 4-4.
DHS won by scores of 25-22, 25-19 and 25-19.
Three of their leading four stat leaders are freshman and the other is a sophomore.
Sophomore Violet McLaughlin had seven aces and 12 assists.
Freshman Kayla Odom chipped in with five kills and five aces.
Freshman Victoria Zaragoza provided eight kills and five aces.
Freshman Yzabella Valerio finished with eight digs and a pair of aces.
