Camden Ullah Tosses 1-Hit Shutout & Struck Out 10 in LOHS’ 5-0 Victory Over Damien; Dominic Rodriguez Hit Grand Slam

Baseball:

Los Osos snapped Damien’s four-game winning streak on Tuesday.

The Grizzlies rode the right arm of Camden Ullah in a 5-0 Baseline League victory in game two of a three-game series.

Ullah went the distance and tossed a one-hit shutout.

Ullah issued one walk, hit three batters and registered 10 strikeouts.

Fifty-six of his 91 pitches were strikes.

Ullah got eight of the nine Spartans nine batters on strikes at least once.

Bennett Ramirez doubled to lead off the top of the second inning to account for the Damien offense.

Andrew Martin got the loss after surrendering four runs on three hits over two innings.

Martin walked two and fanned three LOHS batters.

Dominic Rodriguez hit a grand slam in the bottom of the second inning.

Austin Ziello walked, singled and scored.

Presten Young walked and scored.

Wyatt Mohler doubled, while Taylor Chairez and Andrew Castellon singled.

Gabriel Barajas and Jacob Pimentel scored one run apiece for the Grizzlies.
