Baseball:
Etiwanda won its ninth consecutive game on Tuesday.
The Eagles trailed 1-0 and scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.
That was more than enough for Michael Aleman and AJ Salazar.
Aleman went six innings, and he was charged with one run on three hits.
Aleman issued a pair of walks and registered nine strikeouts.
AJ Salazar went one scoreless inning to earn the save.
Angelo Mantilla walked, had a two-out single in the top of the third and scored.
Carson Kinnick went 2-for-3, including an RBI single in the third.
Andrew Armendarez singled for the Highlanders.
Andrew Weber got the loss after allowing three runs on six hits over six innings.
Weber walked four and fanned three EHS batters.
Angel Mejia singled and scored in the sixth inning.
James Milam doubled Mejia home and the game was tied at 1-1.
Luke Milam walked and his two-run home run plated Milam with what turned out to be the game-winning runs.
LJ Roellig had two hits in three at-bats.
Jaxson Milius singled in Tuesday’s win.
