DHS out-hit CHS, 10-5, including a pair of home runs.
Layne Hansen went five innings and he allowed an unearned run on four hits.
Hansen didn’t issue a walk and registered three strikeouts.
Andrew Martin and Bryce Eddy provided one scoreless inning of relief apiece.
Brody Buoncristiani went 3-for-3, including an RBI single in the bottom of the third inning.
Rhett Billingsley and Branden Kim had one single apiece.
Max Zaldivar got the loss after surrendering four runs on three hits, three walks and a hit batter in 1 2/3 innings.
The Spartans scored at least one run in the first six innings.
Elius Kelly had an RBI single, a solo home run and drove in a third run on a sac fly.
Ryan Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs.
Grant Corder drew a pair of walks, was hit by pitch, scored three times and hit a three-run home run.
Russell Del Castillo and Scotty Yuan singled and scored one run apiece.
Aiden East singled twice and scored a pair of runs.
Oliver Hines drove in a run on a sac fly.
Brady Bickham walked, scored and drove in a run on a sac fly.
Bennett Ramirez had an RBI ground out.
Michael Mansour reached base on an error and came around to score in the third inning.
