The Eagles secured the three-game Baseline League sweep over Chino Hills, 8-5, on Friday.’
With five league games to go (two w/RCHS & three w/Upland), Etiwanda holds a 3.5 lead over second-place Damien.
Noah Frias went four innings and allowed four runs on six hits.
Frias issued three walks and registered seven strikeouts.
AJ Salazar provided 1 1/3 innings and surrendered one unearned runs on a pair of hit batters.
Dylan Villegas got the save after 1 2/3 scoreless innings and allowing just one hit.
Jacob Jimenez walked and hit a three-run HR.
Brooks Buoncristiani singled, doubled, scored twice and had an RBI ground out.
Brody Buoncristiani doubled and drove in a run on a sac fly.
Branden Kim walked and singled.
Tony Arcadia singled and scored.
Ryan Dabuet walked, singled and scored.
Hudson Hughes and Xavier Romero had one single apiece for the Huskies.
