Covina scored seven runs in the final two innings to secure an 8-3 Valle Vista League victory at Rowland.
The Colts earned their second consecutive two-game VVL sweep and they’ve won five league games in a row.
Isaac Flores went 5 2/3 innings, and he allowed three runs (one earned) on eight hits and one hit batter.
Flores issued three walks and registered four strikeouts.
Izziah Seieroe provided 1 1/3 scoreless and hitless innings in relief.
Seieroe walked one and fanned a pair of Rowland batters.
CJ Carrillo singled twice and scored.
Nathaniel Li went 2-for-4 with a double, run and one RBI.
Rick Morrisseau walked, singled twice and scored.
Noah Sandez, David Garcia, Nicholas Adoure and Logan Dwyer had one hit apiece.
