Baseball:
Muir won its seventh consecutive game after Friday’s 8-2 victory over Hoover.
The Mustangs secured the two-game Pacific League sweep by scores of 12-1 and 6-2.
Luca Cano went four innings and he was charged with two runs (one earned) on three hits and a hit batter.
Cano issued one walk and registered five strikeouts.
Ezekiel Rodriguez provided three scoreless innings in relief and allowed two hits.
Rodriguez walked one and struck out four HHS batters.
Alex Weimar singled twice and scored.
Isaiah Magana singled and scored.
Kieran Sinta and Rollie Cherwick had one single apiece.
Owen Marks got the loss after allowing five runs (three earned) on six hits and two hit batters over four innings.
Marks walked three and fanned four MHS batters.
