Baseball:
La Salle split a doubleheader on Saturday with their hosts from Nashville, Tennessee.
The Lancers took game one, 4-0, and the Mustangs secured an 8-6 victory in game two in six innings.
Game One Notes:
David Lopez went five scoreless innings and scattered three hits to earn the win.
Lopez issued a pair of walks and registered five strikeouts.
Nico Armendariz completed the shutout with two scoreless innings in relief.
Armendariz allowed two hits, didn’t walk a batter and struck out two.
Nash Stark went 2-for-3.
Colt Springall walked and doubled.
Drew Wagner was charged with the loss after allowing just one run on one hit and three walks over three innings.
Wagner fanned a pair of Lancers.
La Salle got to Miller King for three runs on six hits and a walk over 2 2/3 innings.
Chris Cardenas went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in the fourth inning.
Frane Flores singled, had an RBI double and scored.
Drew Ward walked and singled and scored.
Andrew Klein walked and drove in a run on a sac fly.
Isaiah Romero drew a pair of walks, scored twice and drove in a run on a sac fly.
Game Two Notes:
Wyatt Harrell went three innings, and he was charged with five runs (three earned) on two hits and four walks.
Brady Church was credited with the win after going two innings and allowing one run on one hit.
Church walked one and fanned a pair of La Salle batters.
Reid Bostic provided a scoreless and hitless inning in relief, including one strikeout.
Chris Cardenas doubled in the first, hit a solo home run in the third and scored twice.
Isaiah Romero had a sac fly.
Gabriel Arias walked and had an RBI on a bunt.
Travis Ochoa singled.
Drew Ward and James Hall drew two walks and scored two runs apiece.
Julio Barrera was charged with three runs on three hits over the the first inning.

Charlevoix Torrence was saddled with the loss after surrendering four runs on three hits and two walks over 1/3 of an inning.

Reid Bostick and Simeon White had one single and one RBI apiece in game two.
