Quotable:

Citrus pitcher/catcher, Garrett Patterson: “Having my first college start today was very exciting and I couldn’t be more proud or excited to do it with this team. My defense behind me was nails and Nick Velazquez made a couple good plays to keep the game tight. My offense gave me a cushion that I felt confident enough to go out there and be myself. Jackson Gray did an amazing job behind the dish and it will truly be one of my greatest memories of college baseball for me.”
