Marshall improved to 2-0 in Mission Valley League games thanks to Friday’s 14-4 beatdown over Mountain View in five innings.
It’s the Eagles first home win of the 2026 season.
Marshall out-hit Mountain View, 15-4, including a 6-1 advantage in extra-base hits.
Adam Alcantar got roughed up for 11 runs (10 earned) on 13 hits and a pair of walks over 3 1/3 innings.
Elijah Lain went 2-for-4 with a walk, double, triple, two runs and four RBIs.
Chris Romero had a pair of singles, tripled, scored twice and drove in one run.
David Ouch went 3-for-4 with a double, three runs and three RBIs.
Miles Pendleton had two singles, one run and an RBI.
Eli Macias went 2-for-4 with a double, run and one RBI.
Liam Wahlstrom drew a pair of walks, singled, doubled, scored and drove in one run.
Bryce Steinberg walked twice and scored.
Kaden Mullins singled in a run and scored.
Jack Badzey pinch ran and scored.
Will Jennings drew three walks, including two with the bases loaded, and he scored one run.
