Baseball:
If this week is any indication, Los Osos is on for a tough row to hoe in Baseline League play.
Perhaps it wasn’t a prudent decision to remove a coach that led the program to a 39-20 record over the last two years.
And doing it one month before the season was set to begin made it worse, because it caused a steady ship to rock and a number of kids transferred out of the school.
The Grizzlies dropped two with Etiwanda by a combined margin of 35-7.
The Eagles secured victories of 19-5 and 16-2 on Monday and Wednesday.
They out-hit LOHS, 33-10.
EHS had 11 extra-base hits compared to four for Los Osos.
LOHS is now 3-8 on the season, and they’ve allowed 60 more runs (46-106) than they’ve scored.
Etiwanda accumulated a 13-0 lead in the top of the third inning, and the Grizzlies scored one run apiece in the third and fourth innings.
Camden Ullah was charged with seven runs (five earned) on nine hits over two innings.
Ullah didn’t issue a walk and registered three strikeouts.
Kyle Humphrey was roughed up for seven runs on five hits in four innings of work.
He walked three and struck out four EHS batters.
LJ Roellig went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles, three runs and two RBIs.
Jaxson Milius had three singles and six RBIs.
Derick Kim doubled, scored three runs and drove in three.

Noah Frias provided three scoreless and hitless innings of relief.
Frias issued one walk and registered one strikeout.
