Crescenta Valley overcame deficits of 3-0 and 7-3 to secure an 8-7 nonleague victory over their visitors from La Canada.
The Falcons closed the game with five unanswered runs.
CV scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth, and they took their first and only lead in the seventh.
Cole Richards had a two-out RBI walk-off single.
Jack Pierce surrendered four runs (two earned) on two hits over the first two innings for CV.
He walked two and struck out four LCHS batters.
La Canada got to Landon Mercado for three runs on three hits over four innings of work.
Mercado didn’t issue a walk and registered five strikeouts.
Cole Richard went a scoreless seventh and struck out one.
Ethan Wong had an RBI ground out in the first and a three-run HR in the top of the third to give the Spartans a 7-3 lead.
Austin Loughrin singled twice and scored a pair of runs.
Will Park walked, was hit by pitch, singled and scored two runs.
Finn Flowerhogan had an RBI single in the first and scored.
Joe Bell walked and scored.
Scott Burns started for LCHS, and he allowed three runs on five hits over 3 2/3 innings.
He walked one and fanned three CV batters.
The Falcons got to Benji Geller for four runs on three hits and a walk in just 1/3 of an inning.
Fritz Phillips provided two scoreless hitless innings in relief, and he avoided any damage in spite of walking four Crescenta Valley batters.
Declan Conwell was charged with one run on two hits in the seventh inning, including one strikeout.
Richards finished 2-for-4 with the double, run and one RBI.
Ryan Shabazian walked, singled twice and scored.
Dante Cerecedes walked, was hit by pitch, singled and scored.
Bryce Robeson had an RBI double, a sac fly, and he scored one run.

Andrew Guske went 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs and an RBI.
Gunnar Herman was hit by pitch and scored.
Michael Watanabe walked and had an RBI single.
