Glendora rebounded from a 3-0 loss at Upland two days ago with a 14-3 mercy-rule victory over visiting Western Christian on Thursday.

The Tartans scored eight runs in the first inning, and they got six more in the third.

Jackson Thompson has seen better days.

Thompson was roughed up for eight runs on five hits in just 2/3 of an inning.

He walked two and struck out one GHS batter.

Glendora got to Dylan Martinez for six runs on six hits and four walks over the final 3 1/3 innings.

Martinez registered one strikeout.

Tanner Grable walked, doubled, scored twice and drove in a pair of runs.

Santiago Garza drew a pair of walks, singled, scored twice and had one RBI off a sac fly.

John Seader went 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs and an RBI.

Sebastian Lawrence was hit by pitch, singled, doubled, drove in two and scored a pair of runs.

Aidan Yamazaki went 2-for-2 with a walk, two runs and an RBI.

Johnny Jabbour singled, tripled, drove in three and scored.

Ozzie Tapia singled, had two RBIs and scored.

Diego Garza walked and scored.

Jude Garcia was hit by pitch with the bases loaded and scored.

Sebastian Lawrence went three innings, and he was charged with three runs on four hits.

Lawrence walked one and struck out four to earn the win.

Alan Ohno and Andy Flores provided one scoreless inning in relief apiece.

Will Stradley and Owen Smith singled and scored one run apiece.

Jacob Casas had an RBI double in the top of the second inning.

Josh Turner hit a two-run HR in the third.

Josh Ng singled in the loss.
